- Mrinalini Srivastava Review added: 2018.07.04★ ★ ★ ★ ★I recently bought a large and heavy piece of ceramic by Sophie McCarthy. I wanted to have it mounted to the wall. I used one of these adhesive hanging devices but could not rely on it to support the piece in the long run. Shelfdirect produced a tiny floating shelf which takes up the actual weight of the piece, while the sticky device keeps it flat against the wall. Once the shelf has been painted, it will look even better as it will 'disappear' into the wall. Has worked beautifully and it was a pleasure to deal with Shelfdirect. Strongly recommended.
